Women on the Rise is a nonprofit organization based in Notre-Dame-de-Grâce (NDG) that offers programs and services to women and their families.

We meet moms where they’re at, offering non-judgmental, empowerment-based individual support, group support, and resources.

Women on the Rise was created by local mothers in 1991 in collaboration with the CLSC-NDG (and incorporated in 1999 as a non-profit) in response to two studies that highlighted the need for services for single parents, new immigrants, and families in general.
